Lightnings Tic-Tac's

I have redone the blog. It is now less offensive to the senses. Enjoy, I may actually post on a regular basis this time.

So Lenny's blog has finially been removed from my links, took me lonf enough I suppose. Anyway, things have been hectic around here, but they've settled down. My cousin Ashley is now oficially graduated from High School too. That leaves only my sister, and her's isn't for ten more years. I suppose I should start looking up classes for next semester. I think I'll take fun classes for a semester. Maybe some dance, a little...something else. Oh, maybe I'll look into photo again, but that's a pretty lame class I hear and last time I checked it was a Saturday class. ~Shurg~ This will be my last week at UPS then I start at Subway. Hopefully it will work out better than lifting boxes. Not much happening now here. But the Pups enjoyed their long walk today. SO all's good. And if anyone would like an easier time paying for classes I have been told about CalGrats from a guy at work. They're work looking into and they're quite helpful for school. If anyone has any information on them they would like to share with me, I know very little about them, save they're money for school you don't have to pay back.

Yes, that one usually is hiring, but that's because the people that apply never apply for the right hours. oh well. Anyway< i put in my tweo weeks at UPS today so I'll be outta there the week after memorial day and into Subway. Man I'm gonna try so many sandwiches, I wonder if they'll let me make the Godwich! Anyway, once I start working there everyone is free to drop by and visit me, but you should probobly wait a week or two so I don't get in trouble. But yeah, if no one wants to come see me I understand... =( everyone hates me...anyway on another note I found my God card, several in fact. I am once again a card carrying member of USINAD. On another another note last night I talked to my friend Wayman Charles Bell III who lives in Arkansas. And before you dismiss him as another of my imaginary friends he's not. He helped me start the RDI in the MSN chat area place. Him and Eurydice, and Bella, and Silvey, and Tahlia. Those were good times, oh and Demonwolf. I miss that place. But now it's full of God-moders and jerkasses. And no one remebers the people who sat quietly there and actually started the chat room. But yeah, hi Trey! Trey's cool. He just graduated from High school, but he's stuck in Arkansas, poor guy. Oh well. Someday we'll bust him outta there.

Edit: So, it looks like he got to my guest book last night after I logged off.

Woohoo, I got a new job. I'll be working at Subway in just a couple of weeks and I'll be away from the evil UPS demons. It's amazing, everyone thinks it's a big step down, but considering a third of my pay check was going to gas working at UPS, i might end up having more money to spend working here. Plus you can get a raise every 30 days at Subway, as opposed to every year at UPS. Of course I can't call in any time I want to stay home from Subway, but I'll get over that, and I wont be exhausted after work everyday! What a strange way to work, it sounds...pleasant.

Ok, so we played Vampire tonight. It went pretty well with the mystery and finding information, and people are throughly stumped on who-done-it. I'm sure it will all be pretty clear once they reach the end, but sadly, that end will come much sooner than planned. Vampire is about to be staked.

So I'm looking for a new job. My hand hurts from applications and I haven't even done very many. I hate looking for a job, I feel like a hooker doing. Oh well, can't win'em all. I wonder if anyone out there check my blog regularly. I almost never get comments. Maybe evenone just hates me. Oh well, I don't hate them, unless they're on my hate list. Then I really hate them. ANyway...

As I sat at my desk, frantically trying to compose this, I began to wonder why I was in such a hurry to do it, why I bothered. Much to my surprise I quickly got an answer. The little dinosaur sitting atop my computer piped up, and as if reading my mind, told me why.
"You do it," said he "because truly you want to."
"But," I said "if I wanted to I would not be questioning why I was doing it."
"No no no, on the contrary, that means very much that you want to do it, and to do it right."
I just stared at the little green toy that had come to life, very much confused. He again replied as if reading my mind . "You question it to see how important it is, in the hopes that the answer will justify doing."
"But could I not also be trying to find a reason not to do it?"
"No" said he with much more confidence than a plastic dinosaur should have. "If you really didn't want to do this then you just wouldn't. Without rhyme or reason you would stop." He blinked.
"Are you sure?" I asked him "I don't think..." There he cut me off and, just before becoming hard plastic with no voice again he said "That would be the problem then wouldn’t it?"

I like it. Yoshi's cute.

For some reason it seems like most of my friends have alot more free time than I do. They manage to hang out with each other a lot more, or have time for this and that, that I have exactly no time for, and I wonder why. Do they sleep less? Do they work less? Do they go to school less? I'm not sure, but I really wish I could get more of that free time.

I don't know about anyone else, but I love philosphy. It's always soooo......cool sounding, and deep. That too.

The Madman
by F. Nietzsche
Have you not heard of that madman who lit a lantern in the bright morning hours, ran to the market place, and cried incessantly, "I seek God! I seek God!" As many of those who do not believe in God were standing around just then, he provoked much laughter. Why, did he get lost? said one. Did he lose his way like a child? said another. Or is he hiding? Is he afraid of us? Has he gone on a voyage? or emigrated? Thus they yelled an laughed. The madman jumped in their midst and pierced them with his glances.
"Whither is God" he cried. "I shall tell you. We have killed him - you and I. All of us are his murderers. But how have we done this? How were we able to drink up the sea? Who gave us the sponge to wipe away the entire horizon? What did we do when we unchained this earth from its sun? Whither is it moving now? Whither are we moving now? Away from all suns? Are we not plunging continually? Backward, sideward, forward, in all directions? Is there any up or down left? Are we not straying as through an infinite nothing? Do we not feel the breath of empty space? Has it not become colder? Is not night and more night coming on all the time? Must not lanterns be lit in the morning? Do we not hear anything yet of the noise of the grave-diggers who are burying God? Do we not smell anything yet of God decomposition? Gods too decompose. God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we, the murderers of all murderers, comfort ourselves? What was holiest and most powerful of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives. Who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed to great for us? Must no we ourselves become gods simply to seem worthy of it? There has never been a greater deed; and whoever will be born after us - for the sake of this deed he will be part of higher history than all history hitherto."
Here the madman fell silent and looked again at his listeners; and they too were silent and stared at him in astonishment. At last he threw his lantern to the ground, and it broke and went out. "I come too early", he said then; "my time has not come yet. This tremendous event is still on its way, still wandering - it has not yet reached the ears of man. Lightning and thunder require time, the light of the stars require time, deeds require time even after they are done, before they can be seen and heard. This deed is still more distant from them than the most distant stars - and yet they have done it themselves."
It has been related further that on the same day the madman entered divers churches and there sang his requiem aeternam deo. Led out and called to account, he is said to have replied each time, "What are these churches now if they are not the tombs and sepulchers of God?"

The valley spirit is not dead:
They say it is the mystic female.
Her gateway is, they further say,
The base of earth and heaven.

Constantly, and so forever,
Use her without labor.

The sky is everlasting
And the earth is very old.
Why so? Because the world
Exists not for itself;
It can and will live on.

The Wise Man chooses to be last
And so becomes the first of all;
Denying self, he too is saved.
For does he not fulfillment find
In being an unselfish man?
