Lightnings Tic-Tac's

I have redone the blog. It is now less offensive to the senses. Enjoy, I may actually post on a regular basis this time.

So none of my friends, except Adrienne, remembered my birthday. I'm 21 now. Oh well.

Adam Sandler?

So today I sat for 2 hours watching people go through binders. Well didn't really watch them, I finished reading American Gods, but that was the basic idea of what I was doing. Watching them go through confidential information, making sure they didn't take pictures, steal pages, make photocopies, things of that nature. It was pretty boring. And after that I have free time, probably for the rest of the day. And for those of you who don't know, Sunday is my birthday, and on that day I think Adrienne and I are going to go out to lunch. We'll probably make calls, but if we don't call you, you can call us and see if you'd like to dine with us. In other news, cats like catnip.

I think it's also a rule that if you have a blog of some sort, you must take quizy things and post the results. So here I am!

They're in Meetings?!

So I'm at work again. There is just nothing to do today. I have had literally no work assigned to me today. I asked my boss and he was like "No, nothing right now." This is crazy because I've been here almost four hours. I have managed to do all my American Lit. homework though, so it's all out of the way. I think I will be doing a majority of my blogging here at work, when I have nothing else to do. I forgot to bring another book to read today, do I'm forced to rely on the computer for something to do. So far I've managed to partially map the Temple of 1000 rooms, I don't think it has 1000 rooms. Stupid lying temple. Anyway, on to other things.

Well, I had other things here, but I have since erased them. They were some musings on the past, more specifically my past, but I have decided against putting them up. They are far too jumbled at this point. I think I need to get back into writing, and I could put short stories up on here, like Brian does sometimes. But, again, I've been far to jumbled in my thinking to get anything down. I suppose I'll go find something else to do now, I don't really have much else to add.

The Addiction

Well I'm at work right now. As many of you know I have a new job. I'm a student assistant for the state. I know that sounds very busy, like they'll make me do stuff all day, but I somehow find the time to post on my blog, do most of my homework, and take an hour lunch. Suffice to say, they don't always have much for me to do. I don't mind too much though, because it is helpful for getting homework done, there aren't any video games to distract me at work, and there's no where to sleep. Anyway, I've been reading through the blogs of other people and I find that one general rule of having a blog is that you must update it on occasion. So this is that occasion, and perhaps I will update regularly.
In more tragic news, I have gone into a relapse. Alas, it is true, I'm a full blown EQ addict again. City of Heroes has lost it's hold on me for now and it's only hope these days is the much anticipated City of villains. Oh, why didn't I join a support group? Why did I allow myself the temptation. I'm not a bad person, EQ is the bad person. I know sony slips nicotine into the game, but I play it anyway. I'll just stop there now.
I have a D&D game running. I'm enjoying it. I don't know about everyone else. I'm pretty sure Nick is having a great time, everyone else is difficult to tell, though I can guess Jess and Lenny are both probably enjoying it too. Adrienne is difficult to tell the first couple of sessions, but she's one of the few people I can trust to tell me she doesn't like it if that is true, so she's probably having fun. Anyone who wants to say anything about the game, feel free to comment here, I'm always receptive to feedback. I'm also looking forward to Neko's game. I haven't gotten to play D&D in such a long while, I always end up running. DMing the game is fun and all, but sometimes you just want to play. I'm playing a psion. I like psionics, I think it's a great system, and so much simpler than the magic system, but the magic system and magic spells do seem to allow for more raw power. But I still like psionics. With that in mind, I'll need to ask Nick how psionics will be treated in this game, not that it matters to characters who use neither, but it's so much fun to blow up a mages head when he thinks he has protection(and he does, from spells, but not from the vast powers of the mind!). Looking up, I see I have made a rather long post. I shall consider doing this more often, and I case you were wondering about the blank post that used to be on the blog, I tried to post a quiz result and I messed the whole blog up. The only thing I could do to fix it was to empty the post, then I just forgot to delete an empty post.
